Why my little indoor plants have algae or Mose on the sides of the pots?
I bought 3 small plants, all types different, but almost all the same size. I kept in adequate sunlight and water when the soil dries. I realized one day that the boat had a white furry looking things and small green dots on the sides. What is the problem and what is the best way to prevent this from happening again. Thank you all.
Furry things White is a fungus. A home remedy is to spray the mold with a solution of baking soda and water. Try not to use too much sodium bicarbonate will change the pH of your soil. Plants grow best in slightly acidic soil. Algae is probably an over-watering. Are you the one that water? That the top inch of soil dry out, put his finger on the ground to see if there is water underneath. Hope this helps.
